Brass Ring Fund

Provides up to $5,000 in funding to WithNot4 Members to assist them in their ambitions.

Applications must reflect the Brass Ring's core values, with a strong emphasis on addressing the value of collaboration.

  • We find strength in working together by encouraging opportunities to share expertise and perspective.

  • We celebrate the achievement of people with disability as leaders and collaborators within their community.

  • We value community participation in promoting visibility, a sense of belonging and valued social roles.

  • We recognise that people with disability are members of their community and have various roles and responsibilities as community members.

Members who recieved Brass Ring Funding

  • Alice

    Brass Ring Fund recognised the significance of Alice’s achievements in her dance teaching and stepped in to cover hall hire costs so she could continue her career as a dancer, teacher and stage performer.

  • South Coast

    Brass Ring Fund supported a group of people with disability to complete a first aid course. 

    Through the completion of this qualification, the attendees gained the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively in emergency situations. 

    Attendees have now updated their resumes, with many securing employment.

  • Bowling Team

    A well established bowling team of WithNot4 Members were funded for team shirts and professional coaching. Having team shirts has grown their confidence as a group.

  • River of Art

    Funding was provided for submissions to the River of Art festival. Members collaborated with professional artists to design and create unique artworks, sculptures, textiles and photographs.

STAaR Short term accommodation and respite

Looking to try something new, take a break, or have a change of scenery? The STAaR Program offers unique opportunities to explore new places with experiences ranging from outdoor adventures to family connections and cooking classes. Whether it's an adventure or a chance to recharge, STAaR can assist you to grow and enjoy life in fresh ways.
