What we are looking for

Experience working with people with disability and providing personal care is preferred but not essential. Training and further professional development will be provided. 

What we’re looking for:

  • respectful, reliable, shows initiative and good judgement. 

  • a team player who can easily fit into an established team of support people, and a great communicator. 

  • energetic and enthusiastic, but able to be calm and laid back when necessary. 

  • Understands and follow policies and procedures. 

 You’ll need a NDIS Worker Check & Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain), a reliable vehicle & drivers licence.

    These positions are paid under the SCHADS Award, with pay dependent on your skills and experience. You’ll also receive ongoing professional development and supervision to help you succeed.

We take pride in the exceptional training of our Independent Life assistants (ILAs). Every ILA completes online training modules followed by in depth sessions led by our qualified Training Officer. Covering privacy, communication, and person centred support, this training ensures your care is in the hands of skilled and confident professionals.
