Our journey began 10 years ago when Helen and Mark set out to find support that better suited their daughters needs and goals.

Unable to find a service that reflected their values and beliefs, they created their own. The goal was to work with Members to build life skills with support that worked alongside them, not for them.

  • We ensure our Members are actively engaged in life. Our Independent Life Assistants (ILAs) work with you, not for you. Our priority is to assist you to develop your independent living skills, live a full life engaged in the community, and make informed decisions.

  • WithNot4 believes the title ‘support worker’ doesn’t fit for our employees. Our goal is to build as much independence as possible for every Member, so they can lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. We believe in this so strongly that we’ve literally put it in the title of our employees, who are Independent Life Assistants.

  • A conscious decision was made to refer to users of WithNot4 as ‘Members’ because we understand we are not the experts in your life, you are. You belong to our organisation not as a client, but as a Member.
